This year’s annual giving theme, Christ Before Us, comes from the words of the prayer attributed to St. Patrick: 

Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me, Christ before me,

Christ beside me, Christ to win me, Christ to comfort and restore me,

Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,

Christ in hearts of all that love me, Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

Our church community keeps us grounded and supported in our faith through uncertainty and anxiety. It provides the space and encouragement we need to grow in love, surrounded by Christ and his call to us. This invitation to give to St. Paul’s is an invitation to invest in a community where we find comfort and restoration. In a world often marked by division and indifference, we choose a different kind of vision. Financial giving is a practical commitment to keep Christ’s hope before us, today and every day.

During the coming year at St. Paul’s, we want to build and sustain our formation programs, continue to welcome newcomers, grow our staff capacities, develop our community care practices, and care for our historic facilities as a place of worship and hospitality. Together, our gifts can make that possible.
