What is Love, Period.?

The most recent Always® Confidence & Puberty Survey noted that nearly 1 in 5 girls in the U.S. have either left school early or missed school entirely due to a lack of access to period products. When girls miss school, they miss opportunities. Additionally, research indicates that lack of period products is not only a problem for girls, but also women in many communities across the U.S. Through Love, Period. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, we have decided to help women and girls by providing them with period products, something that is not covered by EBT or food stamps.

It is estimated that the average woman uses either 15 pads/tampons and 5 liners for each monthly cycle. In 2022, we distributed over 101,000 products and we’re growing. In 2023, we distributed 113,420 individual period products!

Please consider a tax-deductible donation so we can continue to meet the needs of menstruators throughout our community.
